SQL Server DBA - SC Cleared
A SQL Server DBA is required. You will have strong SQL server and database administration experience.
Responsibilities:
- Performance tuning, query optimisation, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Query Store, Extended Events, and SQL Profiler.
- Solid understanding of backup strategies, index maintenance, and DB integrity checks.
- Experience with table compression and storage optimisation techniques.
- Ability to generate and interpret database metrics and monitoring reports.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and maintenance tasks.
Technology: MS SQL Server, Windows Server, Windows AD, Azure SQL DB.
The role is based remotely and the contract is for 3 months initially, inside IR35.
