Remote - Client is based is Manchester and Newcastle, but it is expected the majority of the work will be remote.
5 Years UK Residency
Primary skill set (Must-have)
SOAP Web Services (hands-on)
Designing and building SOAP services and clients using JAX-WS (or equivalent), WSDL/XSD first approaches, and strong XML fundamentals.
Comfortable with wsimport / wsdl2java, service contracts, SOAP headers, SOAP Faults, MTOM (binary attachments), and handler chains.
Understanding of WS- standards*: WS-Security (UsernameToken, Timestamp, Signature/Encryption), WS-Addressing, WS-Policy (exposure is fine, and deep experience is a plus).
Java language & platform
Strong Core Java and OOP (encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces).
