Location of role: Basingstoke, Bracknell and other sites as needed
Location requirement: Hybrid (a flexible attitude to travel and working locations will be required)
Clearance Required: SC (potentially obtain DV)
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Brief overview on the role/project: We are looking for a scrum master to enable the delivery of the offerings portfolio . Facilitating the delivery of the portfolio. Scheduling, running, documenting the Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives etc. Creating "Definition of Done" and measuring deliveries against this. Backlog management, prioritisation. Measuring agile metrics such as Velocity, burn-down, cycle time, predictability.
Mandatory skills:
Experience as a scrum master - ideally in a product management context.
Scrum framework expertise.
Scrum Ceremonies Facilitation: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives.
Backlog Management Support: Working closely with Product Owner to refine and prioritize backlog.
Creation and management of Definition of Done & Acceptance Criteria: Ensuring clarity and consistency across teams.
Coaching & Team Enablement.
Agile Mindset coaching.
Conflict resolution and management and removal of blockers.
Continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimisation.
Servant Leadership, empowering teams rather than directing them.
