AI/ML Engineer - Outside IR35
An AI/Ml Engineer is required to design and deliver next-generation GenAI and agentic capabilities. This covers traditional ML engineering to include Single Entry Point & Intelligent Search, AI Chat & Service Builder Assistant, and LLM experimentation.
The engineer will work hands on to build scalable AI services on AWS, integrating LLMs, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), chatbot frameworks, intelligent search pipelines, and agent based automation. This includes developing reusable components, orchestrating multi step AI workflows, and collaborating with architects and product teams to operationalize GenAI solutions.
Skills;
* Hands‑on experience developing GenAI, LLM, RAG, and agentic solutions, ideally using AWS services.
* Strong proficiency in AWS AI stack: SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, Glue, API Gateway.
* Strong Python development skills, including experience with LangChain/LlamaIndex or similar orchestration frameworks.
* Experience building intelligent search pipelines, vector stores, and embedding‑based retrieval.
* Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, guardrails, and safety principles.
* Experience with MLOps, automation, experimentation frameworks, and cloud‑native delivery practices.
The contract is outside IR35 and home based, candidates will need to be based in the UK. The initial contract will run to May 2026.
