SC Sub Contract Buyer
A Sub contract buyer is required for a client based in Luton. The role will involve managing internal and external relationships in a matrix organisation. You will be able to demonstrate successful subcontract management by developing robust contracts which mitigate commercial risk and address lifecycle factors whilst fostering and maintaining supplier relationships.
The following knowledge and skills are required:
-Understanding of the Life Cycle Management (LCM) framework
-Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, to resolve conflict and provide value using data and analysis to support line of reasoning
-Understanding of the Commercial and Legal Aspects associated with contracting within the Defence/Aerospace industry
-Understanding of Export Compliance
Knowledge and understanding of Procurement within the Defence/Aerospace industry is advantageous.
