Senior / Principal Electronic Engineer
Location: Weston-super-Mare (On-site)
Type: Permanent
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronic Engineer to design and develop advanced analogue, digital and RF electronic systems for cutting-edge products and research projects. You'll work within multidisciplinary teams, taking designs from concept through to manufacture while supporting prototype development and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Design analogue, digital and RF electronic systems using Altium Designer.
Produce schematics, PCB layouts and manufacturing documentation.
Develop high-density mixed-signal PCBs and support board bring-up, testing and validation.
Work closely with embedded software and mechanical engineers.
Support prototype builds, design reviews and technical documentation.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong experience with Altium Designer.
Proven analogue, digital and RF design experience.
Experience designing high-speed mixed-signal PCBs.
Knowledge of EMC, RF layout, impedance control and PCB manufacturing.
Experience taking products from concept through to production.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
FPGA or embedded software experience is beneficial.
