Infrastructure Engineering
* Demonstrable experience across several of the following:
o VMware Cloud Foundation.
o Enterprise server platforms.
o Microsoft Windows Server.
o Linux (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu or similar).
o Enterprise storage platforms such as NetApp or Dell PowerStore.
o Backup and recovery technologies such as Veeam, Cohesity or NetBackup.
o Infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
o Automation using Ansible, PowerShell or Bash.
o Core networking concepts including routing, switching and firewalls.
* Strong understanding of system design principles including:
o High Availability (HA)
o Disaster Recovery (DR)
o Fault Tolerance
o Horizontal and Vertical Scaling
o Capacity Planning
o Security by Design
o Resilience Engineering
o Service Recoverability
