Performance Architect

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience
* Extensive experience in Performance Architecture, Performance Engineering, and System Optimization.
* Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and distributed system design.
* Expertise in defining and managing Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
* Experience creating sizing models, capacity planning strategies, and workload forecasting approaches.
* Deep knowledge of application, database, middleware, cloud, and infrastructure performance tuning.
* Proven ability to conduct end-to-end performance assessments and bottleneck analysis.
* Experience with performance testing methodologies and industry-standard monitoring tools.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, working with CTOs, Enterprise Architects, and senior leadership.
* Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and large-scale distributed platforms.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making capabilities.


Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience (As Applicable)
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
* Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Observability practices.
* Experience in performance governance for large-scale digital transformation programmes.
* Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and performance automation practices.
* Understanding of event-driven and microservices-based architectures.
* Experience with APM and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
* Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
* Exposure to enterprise-scale retail, logistics, financial services, or public sector environments.
* TOGAF, Cloud Architecture, or Performance Engineering certifications.
* Experience driving performance standards across multi-vendor and geographically distributed teams.
