Senior Infrastructure Integration Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Integration Engineer to join their team on a 12 month initial contract, working 3 days a week onsite in Glasgow. This role is Inside IR35.

The role will be responsible for integrating, securing, testing, and automating large-scale Linux, virtualization, and infrastructure platforms, ensuring reliable and secure production operations. Drives vulnerability remediation, Python-based automation, CI/CD enhancements, and end-to-end validation of complex infrastructure changes across distributed enterprise environments.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

* Strong Linux Engineering Expertise with hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and distributed infrastructure environments.
* Advanced Python Development Skills for building automation, integrations, scalable tooling, and production-quality infrastructure solutions.
* CI/CD and Test Automation Experience including pipeline design, automated validation, release management, and deployment automation.
* Security and Vulnerability Management Knowledge covering secure coding practices, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and risk mitigation.
* Infrastructure Integration & Operational Excellence with experience in large-scale production environments, distributed systems, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
