Windows Operations Engineer - Locations can be London, Farnborough or Corsham
Must have an Active DV Clearance

You will work closely with technical teams to provide operational support, infrastructure administration, and project delivery across Windows and enterprise environments.
The position is ideal for an experienced Windows Operations Engineer with strong Microsoft infrastructure skills and a proactive approach to operational excellence.

Windows Operations Engineer Responsibilities

Manage and support secure Windows desktop and server environments.
Handle incident management and service requests through the support ticketing system.
Perform user and group provisioning within Active Directory.
Complete terminal installations, rebuilds, and workstation support activities.
Deliver operating system and application patching.
Perform certificate rotations and support security compliance activities.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise the Windows operations platform.
Support project-based infrastructure improvements that enhance usability, resilience, and security.
Produce and maintain operational documentation and technical procedures.
Share knowledge and support continuous improvement across the operations team.

Windows Operations Engineer Skills and Experience

Active DV Clearance and UK nationality.
Strong Windows desktop and Windows Server administration experience.
Excellent knowledge of Active Directory administration.
Experience administering Hyper-V environments.
Experience with MECM or WSUS for software deployment and patch management.
Experience working within Service Desk or IT Operations environments.
Enterprise Linux administration experience.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work full-time on site in Farnborough.
