DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared - Inside IR35)

We are looking for SC Cleared Engineers with DevOps and platform-engineering experience to support the development, operation and continual improvement an enterprise observability capability.

Working within an established multidisciplinary engineering team, the engineers will implement and maintain infrastructure, configuration, automation and integration components supporting Dynatrace and associated services across AWS, Azure and Client environments.

Experience Required:

- Demonstrable experience of delivering DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering changes using version controlled code, peer review and automated deployment pipelines.
- Practical experience of infrastructure as code or configuration as code, using Terraform or a comparable declarative automation technology, including the safe management of environment-specific configuration.
- Experience of implementing or supporting services in at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS or Azure, including identity, connectivity, security and operational considerations.
- Experience of building, integrating or operating monitoring and observability capabilities, including practical use of metrics, logs, traces, events, dashboards and actionable alerting.
- Experience of testing, releasing and supporting changes to live services, including functional and integration validation, deployment verification, incident investigation, documentation, rollback or roll-forward planning and production support.

Candidates should be able to provide examples of:

- Delivering a technical change through source control, review, testing and deployment.
- Automating an infrastructure, platform or configuration activity
- Diagnosing an operational or integration issue using technical evidence.
- Applying security and least-privilege considerations to an engineering change.
- Creating or maintaining documentation, runbooks or support information.
- Working within established architecture and standards while escalating decisions outside their authority.
