Job description
We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Onsite IT Support Engineer to provide support across 2 sites; Milton Keynes and Watford.
The start date for this will be ASAP, ideally this week before 16th July.
The role is for 2 months initially and working 4 days per week but there could be an additional day on a Friday if the client requires this.
The successful candidate will provide first and second-line onsite IT support, resolving hardware, software, Microsoft 365, Windows, Mac and connectivity issues while supporting the day-to-day operation of the IT environment. The role also involves working with on-premise servers and liaising with third-party support providers for specialist services, including Mac support, Sophos firewall and antivirus management, and VMware infrastructure support.
Working closely with the IT Manager and internal team, the engineer will manage incidents and service requests, escalate complex issues where appropriate, and deliver excellent customer service to end users.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00-16:00 (onsite)
- Friday: Reactive onsite support, as required by the client.
- Travelling between both sites - 90% attendance has been at the MK site but could change naturally, the applicants should be flexible working between both sites.
