Job description
* Bachelors degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Procurement, Law, Finance,
Public Administration or related
* Minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience performing procurement or
contracting activities at officer or equivalent professional level, with responsibility for
applying policies, exercising judgment, and managing assigned actions under limited
supervision (Experience limited solely to assistant or procurement support (e.g. filing,
data entry, scheduling only) will not be considered sufficient.)
* Demonstrated understanding of procurement and contracting principles, including
planning, sourcing, contract administration, record-keeping, and compliance controls.
* Familiarity with different procurement processes and methods
* Ability to work within established policies, procedures, and approval frameworks, with
attention to auditability and documentation requirements
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to track multiple procurement actions,
deadlines, milestones, and deliverables accurately.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to clarify procurement
requirements and support budget availability checks in coordination with finance
colleagues
* Experience contributing to process improvement or automation initiatives, including
improving data quality or supporting the rollout of digital tools
