Job description
Job & Workload Management
* Monitor and manage batch jobs using JCL, SDSF, and scheduling tools
* Ensure timely execution of workloads and resolve job failures
Installation & Upgrade Management
* Install and maintain system software using SMP/E
* Apply patches, upgrades, and ensure software currency
Incident & Change Management
* Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve incidents within SLA
* Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
* Participate in CAB and support change deployments
Disaster Recovery & Resilience
* Support DR drills, system recovery, and failover activities
* Ensure systems meet RTO/RPO objectives
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
* Work with vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, and support
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CICS, DB2, MQ, Storage)
🟦 Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
* Strong experience in z/OS, JCL, JES2, SDSF
* Knowledge of SMP/E, system upgrades, and patching
* Experience in batch scheduling tools (TWS / Control-M)
* Exposure to CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ
* Familiarity with RACF / Security concepts
