Instrument & Control Engineers are responsible for the application, development and delivery of all Instrument & Control documentation and equipment within their respective areas of assignment.

They prepare philosophies, specifications, data sheets, enquiry and purchase requisitions, TBA's, perform technical calculations, prepare overall system block diagram and Cause & Effect diagrams, Control Narratives, assist in the development of Vendor Functional Design Specification, the development of P&ID's and D&ID's, and may act as assistant administrators in charge of subgroups.
