What I'll be doing - your accountabilities Skills required for the job
* Act as core planning, budgeting and forecast (PB&F) subject matter expert.
* Support the relationships necessary to implement the deliverables both across the business and with the SI partner teams where required, demonstrating understanding of the financial and operational consequences of performance.
* Collaborate with the transformation members in the business units to ensure successful delivery.
* Support the Delivery Lead to ensure the business requirements are fully implemented in the end-to-end build, exceptions are minimised, best practices/use cases fully leveraged and implications for new ways of working are fully understood.
* Testing & quality management
* Translate requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product performance, and user acceptance testing.
* Assess the designs, prototypes, and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfil the requirements.
* Review of test scripts and execution of testing to ensure requirements are met in the end solution.
* Conduct programme acceptance testing ahead of UAT, ensuring the solution is robust and of sufficient quality.
* Partner with the business and SI Partner teams to ensure PB&F activities are carried out in accordance with governance, framework and agreed ways of working.
* Work with the Delivery Lead, the business lead and business to define the cutover and business readiness plans.
* Work with project team and business unit teams to transition processes into the business as part of deployment and ensure business adoption.
* Assist with defining detailed plans to meet project and transformation milestones, mitigating risks, clarifying ambiguity, and when appropriate escalating issues to the Delivery Lead.
* Ensure the VDT processes are fully compliant to standards and financial controls.
* Teamwork: collaborate with multiple discipline teams with participants, the wider businesses and the SI partner to successfully deliver the project deliverables.
* SAP knowledge: Good functional / technical understanding of SAP and SAP planning applications. Experience of design and implementation of the application for planning.
* PB&F knowledge: strong PB&F knowledge to define driver-based modelling and scenario planning business process changes and communicating changes to business audiences.
* Business acumen: Knowledgeable in the drivers of organisational performance improvement, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases).
* Matrix working: Comfortable working on a large project where activities are managed according to a matrix structure. Able to work collaboratively and manage their time to meet project deliverables. Resilient and able to challenge others, dealing with resistance to change to meet defined Project objectives.
* Trusted advisor: Good understanding and/or ability to learn about best practice and make process / system improvement recommendations. Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with deep understanding of PB&F business processes and requirements.
