
Technical Support Engineer
Role description
Ensures remote technical support to Business Customers. You are in contact with internal customers (VIP Support team, Account Managers, Customer Support Officers,) and external customers.
You provide a support to technical issues related to two main domains:
- Mobile network, products & services : issues you will handle can be related to : mobile coverage, voice, sms, data, roaming, machine-to-machine,….
- Internet of Things (LoRa & NB-IoT) : you will be involved in remote provisioning/configuration of sensors & base stations,
You have the full ownership of the issue from A to Z, even in case of escalation.
You give support in Dutch, French and English.
The requests/issues come by phone, mail and tickets. It's a 1st/2nd level of support.
The day is organised in 3 shifts (8h-16h30; 9h-17h30; mix). Out of these hours, an on-call duty service is organised within the team.
You must be open to participate to the on-call duty service, when necessary.
Required Responsibilities
- ensure a proper 1st/2d level of technical support (in both domains).
- find the root cause and solve the problem.
-interact with other internal/external technical teams to find a solution for the customer
- when necessary, escalate to the third level of support.
- do the follow-up and keep the customer up-to-date about the progress..
Technical skills.
At least a basic knowledge in one of the two domains and a very good level in the other one. You are open to work in both mobile & IoT domains.
- ideally, you have a very good level in both domains.
- excellent communication skills
Languages
- bilingual Dutch and French
- good level of English
