UKG Pro Technical Analyst

Rate: Market rates p/d (via Umbrella company)

The UKG Pro Technical Analyst will be responsible for understanding business processes and applications at a deep technical level and participating in the development, testing and delivery of changes, defect fixes and enhancements in line with the project priorities. A successful candidate will act as a technical subject matter expert for the systems and solutions aligned to the UKG Pro and Workforce Management (WFM) domain.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a strong understanding of our existing system and application landscape as a building block for future solutions.
* Work to scope the requirements for the payroll and P&C System related pain points and support the Project Manager to create detailed Business case for the Project.
* Develop a strong understanding of our existing system and application landscape as a building block for future solutions.
* Work closely with the product domain (product managers and product owners) to analyse, develop, test and implement changes in line with project priorities.
* Ensuring any changes required to the WFM applications or interfaces are agreed with all parties, scheduled accordingly and completed within the required timeframe.
* Develop strong relationships with our third-party service providers; ensuring support and development services meet and exceed expectations.
* Providing oversight and participating in testing, configuration and implementation of new systems, upgrades, project changes and system enhancements.
* Collaborate closely and develop effective partnerships with the Product Domain (Product Managers and Product Owners) to create strategic objectives and organisational evolutions to better align business, product and technical opportunities.
* Evaluate technical & functional designs against business requirements; ensuring impact to supported systems is understood and managed effectively in order to enable seamless transition to business as usual support.
* Work with internal and external teams to help shape the landscape and solutions that will allow the business to achieve its strategic goals.
* Work with and challenge business units on their assumptions to help deliver solutions for their current and future needs.
* Use the knowledge gained in the analysis, design, development and testing of changes to become an SME for the solutions delivered, enabling effective knowledge transfer & training to the wider team.
* Develop effective working relationships with internal technology stakeholders, service providers and the business.
* Ensure all sensitive data is managed with caution and the customer remains fully compliant with GDPR as well as other relevant regulations.
* Working with the Product teams on the creation and management of epics, user stories and backlog changes across Product Teams.

Key Skills & Experience:
* Solid relevant experience in UKG Pro including gathering business requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions.
* Knowledge of the following modules of UKG PRO
o Advanced Scheduling (forecasting & auto scheduling)
o Basic scheduling (this is used in Islip only)
o Time keeping
o Attendance
o Attestation
o Absence
o Analytics
o Data Hub
o ESS - is not a module by itself but links to the above as appropriate, e.g. absence in ESS links to absence module etc.
o Dell Boomi
o Clocks setting
* Experience of working within Agile environments and methodologies.
* Understanding of Product driven delivery.
