Role Title: Performance Test Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes
Duration: 30/04/2026
Days on site: 2/week
Rate INSIDE IR35 £250 per day


Role Description:

Design and implement performance test plans and scripts for end-to-end business flows.
* Execute load tests to simulate expected user volumes and spike tests to assess system behavior under sudden traffic surges.
* Monitor system resources (CPU, memory, disk I/O) during test execution to identify bottlenecks.
* Analyse performance metrics and generate detailed reports with recommendations for optimization.
* Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and improve system architecture.
* Establish performance benchmarks and acceptance criteria in alignment with business SLAs.
* Continuously update testing methodologies and tools to align with industry standards and project needs.
* Ability to interpret performance test results and suggest architectural improvements
* Experience with CI/CD integration and automated performance testing pipelines.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization environments.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
