Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and document end to end Transaction Monitoring and Anti Financial Crime (AFC) processes within a regulated investment banking environment.
* Elicit, analyse, and translate regulatory, business, and compliance requirements into clear, well structured user stories and functional specifications.
* Work closely with Compliance, Financial Crime, Product Owners, and Technology teams to define and drive fit for purpose Transaction Monitoring solutions.
* Support Agile delivery teams by refining backlogs, participating in sprint ceremonies, and ensuring requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
* Perform data analysis using SQL to assess transaction behaviour, validate business rules, and support investigative and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with technology teams to ensure accurate interpretation of business logic, data transformations, and monitoring scenarios.
* Support testing activities, including requirements validation, test scenario definition, and defect triage related to Transaction Monitoring solutions.
* Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses in existing Transaction Monitoring processes and propose data driven improvements.
* Ensure solutions align with relevant financial crime regulations and internal governance standards (e.g. AML, KYC, regulatory expectations).
* Act as a key liaison between business, compliance, and technology stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of scalable, risk sensitive solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong hands on experience (Ideally 5+ years) in Transaction Monitoring, AML, or Anti Financial Crime within banking or financial services
* Ideally overall 8+ years of experience performing business analysis and data analysis on complex, data heavy platforms
* Proven ability to analyse requirements and translate them into clear, well structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications within Agile/Scrum teams
* Ability to write simple to intermediate SQL queries to analyse transaction data, validate business rules, and support regulatory or investigative use cases
* Strong experience working with compliance, financial crime, and technology stakeholders, with the ability to bridge business and technical discussions effectively.
