Duties and Responsibilities

*To provide direct support to a wide range of resourcing activities and initiatives
*Support, coordination and/or facilitation of virtual (and when possible) actual careers fairs, help to facilitate engagement and interaction with Universities, Schools and other academic and non-academic organisations.
*Processing recruitment requests from receipt of appropriate documentation through to appointment of successful candidates including
*To help provide occasional support, direction on any resourcing related or complex recruitment matters in the Recruitment Team Manager's absence
*Liaise with Communications team with regards to Social media platforms such as Twitter, Linkedin, and Facebook
*Coordination and facilitation of virtual (and when possible) actual careers fairs throughout the year
*Support and coordination of international recruitment initiatives
*Ability to handle and communicate confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner
*Receiving resourcing related enquiries from potential applicants and internal managers/recruiting managers
*Work closely with members of the NWSSP Recruitment Team to ensure all recruitment processes and episodes are in line with time to hire service level agreements
*Giving accurate advice based on agreed procedures to Recruiting Managers, internal staff, and potential candidates
*Provide advice and work collaboratively with the Recruitment Team and other stakeholders to ensure service levels are met and there are no delays or issues which may affect appointment and commencement in post - progress chasing as appropriate
*Assisting in the production of job adverts, including ensuring the written content complies with current employment laws.
*Keeping managers informed of the progress of their candidates through the recruitment process
*Export, collate and manipulate data in Excel spreadsheets, including analysing and presenting accurate data in an appropriate format that is understanding to its audience
*Identify and respond to potential data anomalies in reports and identify where corrective action may be required
*Signposting recruiting managers to appropriate services, training or colleagues where their needs fall outside these parameters
*Maintain effective communication channels and working relationships with finance, external payroll/pensions, Recruitment Team
*To assist in general administration duties in the Workforce and OD Department.


*A-Level or equivalent experience

Skills and Experience

*Previous office/administrative experience ideally from within a Recruitment environment.
*Experience of working with Microsoft Excel to an Intermediate / Advanced level,
*Ability to present information to a variety of audiences in a simple and meaningful way and the ability to deliver a comprehensive administrative support service
*Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook Mail applications, together with experience that demonstrates.

*Ideally have Trac Recruitment experience (or an Oracle based similar system), you will contribute to ensuring effective and efficient workforce data management
