The Role
* Node and React are the main ingredients, there's also PostgreSQL and Selenium, and the service runs on the "Application Container Platform" (Docker, Kubernetes).
* There is a quite complex bespoke Node/React framework, heavy non-standard use of Redux, and awkward componentisation and dependency architecture.
* We're looking for strong technical skill but also someone who can help drive things.
* The team will also be responsible for maintenance of a second system, the Digital External Correspondence System (DECS), which has a very different technical stack but is no longer in active development as a product. This is a React and Spring Boot microservices system, also using PostgreSQL and Camunda.
Experience
Very strong React-Node primary skillset, with some Java-SpringBoot experience to complement that (the Java-SpringBoot experience is for support and maintenance of a system that's not in active development)
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
