The control officer is a pivotal role that will suite someone who is well organised, disciplines and able to deal with a range of stakeholders and requirements in all aspects of the department's running. The control officer works closely with the head of department to ensure smooth running and ensure departmental objectives are met in terms of deliverables as well as adherence to financial goals and reporting. A secondary element of this role is to engage with wider business stakeholders to gather information regards their current operations and how the team could support their security needs. There are multiple roles available across several of the Cyber Security Towers. Whilst previous Cyber experience is advantageous it is not essential for this role. Preference is given based on professional capabilities, transferrable from other disciplines which should allow more diverse approaches to task and problem management.

Mapping & Coordination

* Map deliverables, KPI and KRI between tower functions (internally) and with external stakeholders /customers using Power Bi and Kanban.
* Coordinate operational activities' forecasting engaging with Office of CSO finance lead.

Maintaining & Improving

* Own/Update landing pages (intranet); work with comms teams, risk, intelligence & resilience, security operations, and supply chain.
* Develop and maintain supply chain details and processes or lists for security incident response and departmental functions.
* Develop and maintain the monthly reporting schedule: KPIs; KRIs; Resilience; Threat intelligence as required.
* Assist with drafting of statements of work, job descriptions or commercial proposals (incl Business Cases).

Running & Change Management

* Oversee staff onboarding and offboarding knowledge transfer.
* Oversee engagements with other teams when presenting business cases or change proposals governance.
* Maintain financial forecasts, external engagements and coordinating across other cyber towers.

Hours: 20 hours a week (Flex)
Pay: £200 (pro rata)
