Refresh Support Engineer who will be primarily based on our client's site in Swindon.
In this role you will be working in a small team supporting a PC hardware refresh to 5000 end users of a major international insurance company.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities
* Working with the Project team to build and ship replacement hardware devices.
* Manage the lifecycle of the builds allocated and prioritize work to effectively achieve the Project targets.
* Keep the Project managers and deployment schedule updated throughout the length off the project.
* Update the Asset Management when devices are deployed and received.
* Prepare machines for Shipping including booking couriers and making sure paperwork is accurate.
* Where necessary physically deliver devices to end users on the client site and assist with their rollout.
* Work closely with the Asset Manager on periodic stock counts and audits of project stock.
* Recommend improvements to Project Management and participate in the implementation of them where appropriate.

* Previous PC Build or Deskside experience with Windows 11
* MS Excel experience
* Awareness of GDPR guidelines on personal data handling.
* You will need to have an eye for accuracy and be able to follow required governance processes.
* Experience with any of the following will be beneficial although training will be provided,
* M365, Autopilot, Intune, ServiceNow.
