An SC and NPPV3 cleared Back up and Storage SME is required for an initial 3 month contract. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on site in London and is inside IR35 so will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company.
Key skills and experience:
Storage :
*Recent experience of design/configuration of at least two or more of the following Dell Storage platforms
oDell PowerStore
oDell Unity
oDell PowerScale or Isilon
oDell ECS
*Experience of configuring Dell (Cisco SAN fabrics).
*Preferably experience of writing low level storage design or configuration documentation.
Backup:
*Recent experience of design/configuration of NetBackup Software solutions.
oPreferably up to NetBackup version 10.x
*Experience of Veritas NetBackup Appliances is desirable (although if candidate has Data Domain experience, then these skills can be transferable).
*Preferably experience or knowledge of Veritas Access platform (or another object storage platform used long term backups).
*Preferably experience of writing low level backup designs or configuration documentation.
*Desirable to have some exposure to Azure backup and Hybrid backup architectures using NetBackup.
