
Role: Telephony Engineer
Rate: Inside IR35
Base Location: Corsham - 3 days per week on site on average with work from home
Duration: Initially until the end of March 2026 with scope for further extensions
SC clearance required
In order to deliver this service, it is essential that individuals have at significant experience of the following:
· Installation, configuration, maintenance, administration, and support of NATO VoIP telephony systems and the delivery and codes of connection for both.
· Working in an Agile delivery model and working in a fast moving, developing environment with operational priorities.
· Experience with voice implementation that conforms to both JSP and NATO STANAG standards.
· Experience with QoS implementation that conforms to both JSP and NATO STANAG standards.
· Experience working with NATO to deliver NATO NS voice and video (if required) services
· Obtained CISCO CCNP Networking qualification within the last five years and be highly skilled and conversant with:
o CISCO Switches
o CISCO Routers
o VLANS
o QoS
o OSPF
o BGP
o VOIP
o MCU (Multi Point Conference Unit)
o Session Border Controllers
o CISCO CUBE
· Have excellent communication skills with diverse and adverse audiences
· Have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
· Hold a current SC clearance and be prepared to undergo DV clearance.
· Competent in MS Office Suite.
Desirable skills, qualifications, and experience
In order to deliver this service, it is desirable that individuals have:
· Experience of:
o Working within the public sector, preferably Defence, and ideally with Defence Digital (formerly ISS).
o Poly Clarity Real Presence
o SKYPE
o Cisco Call Manager
