The Level 2/ Level 3 IT Support Engineer is to be capable of installing and maintaining computer hardware and software systems used to provide test and reference environments in direct support of deployed Live IT systems. The systems are required to support the Core Engineering Team, Test Team and Live Service Management Team based on VMWare, Windows, Linux and Cisco products.
Must have:
*Ability to work on site 2-3 days per week or as required within a close knit team environment
*Experience using and administering Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS,
*Use and understanding of Microsoft Server O/S (ideally 2012R2, 2019 and Windows 10)
*Experience working/administrating virtualised environments (ideally VMware vCenter)
*Good experience working with different computer hardware
*Able to lift, shift and install heavy equipment

*Administering Microsoft Exchange Server 2016, Skype Server 2016, Microsoft SharePoint Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2016
*Administering Trend DSM
*Administering VEEAM
*Administering SolarWinds
*Administering Amulet Hotkey Zero Clients (Using Zero Client Manager)
*Administering Meinburg NTP
*Administering VMware Horizon and AppVolumes
*Knowledge of ADFS
*Administering Microsoft Endpoint Connection Manager,
*Experience with Windows PKI ideally within Defence or DPKI,
*Experience with VMware NSX including microsegmentation,
*Experience with cryptographic materials, both handling and accounting for
*Experience using Linux products
*Experience using Cisco Networking Products
*Willing to work periodically outside normal working hours including on call on average one week in 6
