DevOps Engineer - Salesforce
Our client is looking for a Devops engineer with experience working in a Salesforce environment. This role bridges the gap between development, operations, and business teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce projects.
- Automate deployment processes and manage version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Salesforce systems and integrations.
- Perform system testing, validation, and ensure platform security and performance.
Technical skills:
- Salesforce Platform & Development Tools
* Proficiency in CLI, scratch orgs, and packaging strategies
* Version Control Systems: Git, Bitbucket, GitHub; branching strategies and code review workflows
- Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD): Experience with tools like Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps
- Deployment Pipelines: Automated deployment validation, rollback strategies, and sandbox management
- Environment & Release Management
The role is for 3 months initially and based from home with two days on site in Coventry every week.
