
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Design Architect for the datacentre migration programme,
This is a 6 months contract initially with strong possibility of extension.
Please note that the role is inside IR35 and working week is 37.5 hours.
There will be some onsite presence required in Crawley and London sites.
Act as the primary TDA for the datacentre migration programme, providing high level technical oversight across compute, storage, network, and application migration domains.
Ensure technical designs meet architectural standards, and drive governance processes, decision forums, and technical approvals.
Validate discovery data to identify risks/issues and to optimise migration approach.
Engage with technical teams and senior stakeholders to maintain alignment and provide representation on design boards and change forums.
Provide clear senior level updates on technical risks, design decisions, and progress.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience acting as a TDA or senior architectural authority in datacentre migration programmes.
- Preferably in large scale, complex and regulated environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including senior stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work autonomously, identify risks early, and drive technical decision making.
- Ideally previous Financial Services/Banking experience.
