We have an urgent requirement for an AI Product and Delivery Lead on an initial 6 month contract. This will be inside IR35 and will be mainly remote working with ad hoc travel to site in Nottingham where required.
The AI Product and Delivery Lead will drive the adoption of AI solutions, owning and maturing the product roadmap, and ensure delivery aligns with organisational goals and ethical standards delivering measurable improvements across education, research, and operations. This strategic role combines AI expertise, stakeholder engagement, with change delivery to translate complex business challenges into impactful AI use cases.
Essential experience includes:
* Strong Product Management experience
* Proof of Concept (POC) - can look beyond the trial into how to develop supportable solutions
* Can lead conversations around AI and present options
* Can take the organisation on a journey re AI and help to shape the long term strategy
* High level of current and relevant AI and cutting-edge technology skills and ability to learn new systems
* Knowledge of latest AI technologies and associated ethical considerations, party to the creation of AI solutions understanding, the vagaries, risks, costs, pitfalls and false dawns of an AI solution.
* Expert understanding of product management principles with the ability to develop and communicate a clear product and delivery strategy and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels.
* Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into business requirements
* Proven experience of leading development and/or implementation of AI or cutting -edge technology within a complex organisation
* Proven experience of developing exceptional digital and/or data products and services
* Demonstrated success in developing and implementing product strategies and roadmaps, leading to measurable improvements.
